Houthi rebels, armed with an impressive arsenal of rockets and with Iranian backing face off against the Yemeni army propped up by a Saudi-led coalition who are in turn supported by several Western powers. At the same time, an armed group fights for the secession of Southern Yemen while Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula further muddies the water, fighting against all other factions present.
